It takes into account the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents (age, gender, political preferences and type of urbanisation). This round also focused on poverty and social exclusion, examining the extent and immediacy of these problems for respondents.<br> Eurobarometers are a series of public opinion surveys conducted regularly on behalf of the European Commission and other EU institutions since 1973.
