Overview of all notaries residing in the territory of Belgium between ca.1650 and 1865. The data is retrieved from the publication Tarlier H., Liste alphabétique des notaires de Belgique depuis l'origine du notariat jusqu'en juillet 1864 : supplém. jusqu'au 31 Décembre 1865, Tarlier H. 1865, p.367. The dataset contains the names, locations, and periods of active service per notary. The locations are geocoded on the municipal level using NISCODES.
