One of the tasks in the BESOCIAL research project was to develop a preservation plan for archived social media data. In order to do so, we first needed a better overview of KBR's readiness for digital preservation as an organisation. To this end, we used the Digital Preservation Coalition handbook (available online at: https://www.dpconline.org/handbook/getting-started) and the Assessment Tool Template provided by the National Digital Stewardship Alliance (template available online at: https://osf.io/8ctpu/, more information available online at: https://ndsa.org/publications/levels-of-digital-preservation/).
