This dataset contains two language versions (Catalan and French) of a semi-structured interview guide designed for a qualitative study on language policies and multilingual practices in primary schools belonging to the Escola Andorrana network in the Principality of Andorra. The instrument was used to collect data from teachers and school administrators as part of a broader project on border sociolinguistics and multilingual education.

The interview guide explores participants’ perceptions and practices regarding the linguistic environment of schools, language hierarchies, language policies at school and classroom level, educational objectives, teacher collaboration, and material and human resources devoted to language learning. Specific prompts are adapted to the role of the participant (teacher or administrator).

The dataset consists of:

Guió d’entrevista semiestructurada (Catalan version)
Guide d’entretien semi-directif (French version)

The two versions are functionally equivalent and were used according to the linguistic preferences of participants. The instrument was developed within the framework of the research project "Sociolinguistics of Borders" and employed during fieldwork conducted in Andorra in 2023.

Data type: Research instrument (semi-structured interview guide)
Languages: Catalan, French
Methodology: Qualitative research; semi-structured interviews
Domain: Sociolinguistics, language policy, multilingual education
Geographical coverage: Principality of Andorra
Intended reuse: The interview guide may be reused or adapted for qualitative studies on multilingualism, language policy, minority languages, and educational settings.
