It includes the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents (age, gender, occupation, income, political preferences and type of urbanisation). Other questions concerning the perception of income, the perception of living conditions and the perception and image of misery were also asked.<br> Eurobarometers are a series of public opinion surveys conducted regularly on behalf of the European Commission and other EU institutions since 1973.
